Al-kīmiyā Collection: The Malachite Colorway

I’m thrilled to unveil a new addition to our Al-kīmiyā Collection: the Malachite Colorway. This limited-edition hue of the Al-kīmiyā Print is inspired by the vibrant pigments seen in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.

On my recent visit to Egypt, my friend and guide Nawal took me to explore tombs and temples adorned with colorful carvings. One of the most striking colors I discovered was malachite—created by grinding the stone into pigment and painting it onto sandstone walls.

At the heart of this collection is our exclusive Al-kīmiyā print, a design inspired by the mystique of ancient Egypt. Each motif carries a story steeped in history and sacred symbolism:

  • Flowing water patterns, representing the life-giving energy of the Nile River.
  • A diamond-shaped amulet (hijab), believed to protect against the evil eye.
  • Starry motifs, drawn from the celestial zodiac ceiling of the Dendera Temple, celebrating cosmic wonder and divine alignment.

Every piece in this collection is crafted to order, ensuring that each garment is as unique as its wearer. With limited quantities available, these designs are truly ephemeral treasures—meant to be cherished and celebrated.

The Malachite Colorway embodies modern glamour while connecting us to ancient mineral magic. It’s a call to embrace the grounding elegance of nature’s most vibrant green.

Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of this ancient-inspired collection before it disappears, like the fleeting beauty of a desert bloom.
